Thank-you for visiting our online shop. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply these freezer classics to you. By placing an order with us you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of sale. Please read these before completing your order with us.
Your order
We make every effort to ensure that all the dishes shown in our shop are in stock, but if we sell out, we will email you directly to inform you and will not charge you for the relevant product (s)
Faults
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with any of our dishes please contact us by email at delivered@katecooks.co.uk immediately.
Changes & Variations
The images of the dishes on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display them accurately, our products may vary slightly from these images. We may change the products at any time due to varying reasons or make minor adjustments to recipes, these will not affect the enjoyment of the products. In addition we may make significant changes to a recipe or if an ingredient is not available. In the event we make a change after you have placed an order we will contact you to notify you and you may contact us in writing to cancel or amend your order.
Cancelling or making changes to your order
As our products are perishable you are not entitled to the right to return unwanted goods within 14 days of receiving them. If you wish to cancel your order, or make a change to your order, please contact us in writing as soon as possible and no later than 7am 2 working days before your delivery. If you request a change to your order we will contact you with regards to any price change and anything else relevant to your request.
Delivery
We currently only deliver directly to the customer. We will make delivery arrangements with you once payment is received. If after arranging a delivery time with you and you are not in, we will ring you once to the mobile number you supplied to arrange an alternative. If you do not pick up the phone, we will return the goods in their frozen state safely back to our kitchens. You can then either arrange collection to come and get your goods or they can be re-delivered the following week.
Payment
Debit and credit card orders are processed securely by PayPal. Payment is by debit or credit card when you order online. We accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards.
Packaging
As we sell perishable goods, please inspect the products as soon as they are received by you. If you have any questions about the product, please contact us immediately. We will be happy to discuss it with you and offer a refund for any product you feel does not meet our product description or any item that may have been damaged in transit.

Cookies
We only use cookies to enable functional elements of our website, such as login sessions to restricted areas and use of the shopping cart. The cookies we send to your browser will only be active for the duration of the browsing session on our websites.
Terms & Conditions of Payment for Outside Event Catering

Staff:
Chef fees , depending on the size and nature of your event a chef (s) fee will be applicable on the day of the event.
Waiting Staff are charged @ £10.00 per hour
Staffing requirements will be discussed with each individual client prior to the event and the costs will be calculated post the event and sent in the final invoice.
Please be aware that you will need to factor in these extra costs on top of the menu prices.
Drinks:
To be discussed prior to the event. We can provide alcohol and soft drinks for your event if you would like.
Travel Expenses:
Carriage will be charged at 0.50p per mile per car. We do our very best to keep this to a minimum by grouping staff together in cars.
Final travel expenses will be calculated post the event and sent in the final invoice.
Equipment Hire:
To be discussed prior to the event, if hire is required, we will arrange all of this for you which can include glassware/crockery/cutlery/linen and field kitchen equipment if necessary. This will include an administration fee of £25.00 for an event 50 and under and a fee of £50.00 for an event over 50 guests.
Payment & cancellation terms:
We require a 50% deposit of the final food costs in advance of the event (this must be cleared no later than 7 days prior to the event). The final invoice will be sent directly after the event and is payable within 7 days.
Final numbers and any specific dietary requirements and allergens must be confirmed in writing 96 hours (4 days) before the start of the event, this is important so we can ensure we have enough time to source everything from our suppliers. We are unlikely to be able to accommodate changes after this time nor cater for additional dietaries.
If for any reason your event needs to be cancelled. We must receive written confirmation no less than 4 days to the event. If you cancel your event between 2-4 days you will lose 25% of your deposit , Any later than 48 hours to the event unfortunately no deposit will be refunded.
Other Notes
When cooking in people’s private homes we will leave it as we found it. Once we have cleared the last plates from the table, we will depart leaving you to enjoy the rest of the evening. We will require working ovens and hobs to a good standard, cleared surfaces and some fridge space. If you have surfaces that are not heat proof please give us prior warning of this and provide protective mats for these surfaces, also please remove anything fragile from the work tops in advance of our arrival.
